ea Tree Crêperie is a Cordon Bleu style eatery & the first of its kind in Jamaica. We opened our first store in December, 2011 on Hillcrest Avenue in Kingston and have won the hearts and stomachs of many a gourmand. |
| Though we specialize in international & herbal teas and incredible crêpes, we offer a tantalizing menu of classic breakfast, gluten-free as well as vegan delights, delicious desserts, quiche, salads, 100% Blue Mountain coffee drinks, blended and specialty drinks, top shelf offerings and many more hearty goodies by Chef Maree. |

The Brains - Maree Sigurdson
Tea Tree Crêperie’s menu and both preparation and presentation techniques were created by Cordon Bleu trained and certified Executive Chef Maree Sigurdson, who has over four decades of catering experience under her belt.
Growing up in Winnipeg, Canada she had 4 older siblings who she would cook for. |
| Maree recalls crying to her mother that her brothers “ate all the food!” and there was none left for her parents. Her mother replied “Dear, it’s when they DON’T finish it that you should cry!” Using that episode as a mantra of sorts, Maree’s goal is for each and every person she caters for to always clean their plates. As the former wife of one of Canada’s most decorated diplomats, she’s travelled the globe and lived in half a dozen countries, wining and dining an incredibly wide array of individuals from almost every nation with every type of palette. She insists on using only the freshest, highest quality ingredients available to us at any given time. “Subpar” is not in her vocabulary. |

The Beauty - Carrie "Quizz" Sigurdson

The look, sound and feel of Tea Tree Crêperie comes down to the Marketing Manager, Carrie Sigurdson. Having majored in Advertising Design at York University in Toronto, she lives to brand and brands to live, marketing on an entirely different level than the competition. |
| She is a trusted Jamaican entertainment and media consultant and successful event promoter with over 15 years of hands on experience. Carrie knows exactly what it takes to reel in the consumer and keep them there. |

The Braun - Oliver Hardie
Oliver is our Operations Manager and resident charming salesman. Growing up between London and Kingston, he was raised by a successful but ruthless businessman and was Managing Director of his father’s commercial transport company by age 23. Since then he's dabbled in real estate, event promotion, hospitality, acting and television. |
| These days he has settled nicely into his role of Restaurateur and has big plans for Tea Tree. Strategic planning is his strong suit and getting the flagship in Montego Bay up and running is his latest mission. If you need it done, he’ll find the best way to do it and if he can’t get it done today, he’ll get it done tomorrow. |

Our A-Team quickly grasped the concept of sincere and observant customer relations as well as le cordon bleu style of preparation and presentation. We are proud to offer what could very well be the best service in the country! The Kingston All-Stars
Meet Dowen, our Sous Chef, Staff Liaison and Floor Manager. He's our right hand and general all-rounder who can get any and every thing done in the drop of a hat. Sherrie is our Chef de Partie, managing back of house a.k.a. the prep room and overseeing the preparation of almost everything! Sharp, collected and creative, Sherrie has ideas and solutions to suit every need. Apple keeps us all on our toes, making sure everybody is in good spirits, always armed with a smile while maintaining the role of Swing Chef; blending drinks, prepping salads, pavlovas, sauces, coffees and spinning a crêpe or two if need be. Kediesha is the youngest and newest member of our team. Straight out of Heart, she excels in customer service and is anxious to learn all the ins and outs of running a top quality restaurant. |
